I guess the 140A are pretty darn good, as Maury sent me another email saying the reason there's not much interest in his store for the 240A is because the 140A sounds so good.
I'd just really love to hear the 240A as a comparison. Thanks for all the replies! |

I had a BR 240A years ago when the Mandolin Store was in Ohio. I had Bob Colisi make a new long saddle for it. I should have kept it was a real good guitar. A little different sound than the BR140A.

Yes, I should have mentioned in my post that I also put a Colosi saddle in my BR140a, and ebony bridge pins. A simple and affordable little adjustment that makes the guitar sound even better.

Well, turns out I'm a sucker for a sale
I bought a 240A yesterday and I'll update once I get it and have a chance to play it a bit. |
