What recording app do you use?
I am using a setup that I really like a lot. Instrument condenser microphone on the acoustic and vocal condenser for, well, the voice. Run both of these into an Allen and Heath ZED 10FX and then into either my iPhone or iPad and the results are really great! Also makes it very easy to upload or send off to friends. So far I have been using the Multitrack DAW app and it works well but I was just wondering what else was out there.
To those of you that use iPhone or iPad for recording what is your favorite app? |

Most of my recordings are done in Garageband IOS with a scarlett condenser mic, into an iTrack Solo. I export all tracks into Dropbox, and mix and master in Logic Pro.

I switched from Garageband (just OK) to Multitrack DAW which is an easy to use, amazing app for ipad. Cost around $10 for 8 tracks and you can add another 8 tracks for another $7-8.
I recorded some guitar parts for my band's latest album using Multitrack DAW The Modulators Try Try Try on Koolkat Musik. http://www.amazon.com/Try-try-Modula...lators+try+try Last edited by jricc; 05-17-2016 at 11:17 AM. |

i use logic on a desktop but use the ipad logic remote app for remote recording. works real well.
lately, i've been using music memo to get quick and dirty ideas down. then i can record them better later. i have used the garageband app and find it is really good, but, since i have logic i usually use it. play music!

I use Studio One. I love it's ease of use and workflow but it doesn't compromise on power or features for it. Some DAW's I've used before can be quite daunting if you're not used to producing but Studio One is great.
