Default Best Day to Work from Home?

As a benefit, my company offers one day to "work" (cough cough) from home each week. I am leaning towards Monday because it's always hard to wake up.

What do you think is the best day to work from home?

All of them. I have two regular office visits a week, team meeting on Monday morning and a recap with application specialists on Fridays. Otherwise, i "work from home" which, in realty means, I work from my car as I have to cover about half the state.

Even though I'm retired, I tried to put myself back into a work week mindset - ugh. As strange as this may sound, when I was working, the various days of the week seemed to have distinctly different "flavors" to me with Friday, by far, being the best tasting. I disliked the pattern of Monday holidays and very much preferred Friday days off. Having a Monday off never felt right because it was merely just delaying the inevitable return to work while a Friday off always felt like an extra helping of a good thing, the weekend. Therefore, I voted for Friday as the best day to work from home (cough, cough). ...

Right before I retired in February, I was only going into the office on Mondays and Wenesdays. Good gig.
I didn't vote, but I personally for me I suppose Friday would be the day.

I like Monday or Friday because it makes the week feel shorter.
I like tues wed or thurs because my weekend doesn't "accidentally " extend itself in favor of me rather than the job.

Every day, that includes Saturday and Sunday too. I've been doing it for 10 years now and the low stress has most likely added years to my life.

Friday seems like a good day to work from home (WFH) but there's no traffic and no coworkers and no work. So I am really going into the office to do nothing. Mondays are the worst for me because I sleep in on Sat and Sun so my sleep schedule gets out of whack.

I work from home on Wednesdays. I feel like it breaks up the work week nicely.

I'd much rather be at home on Mondays as opposed to Fridays. On the rare Monday holiday (MLK and Labor Day), it's nice to be with the family on Sunday nights and then suddenly remember, "Oh, I'm off tomorrow!" It's really cool.

There's sometimes to be said (IMO) for a certain "rhythm" to a schedule. I remember back when I was an adjunct instructor at the local community college in addition to a grad student, I had one spring semester that, for whatever reason, I was off every Thursday. Granted, I would stay at home and work on homework, but it was weird. I never felt like I got my bearings for that whole semester. I was glad when it was over.

C'mon guys. I need more votes before my meeting with the big boss.
I am leaning towards Friday.
But I really despise waking up on Mondays.
Fridays already seem like a day off for me.

I think that if you opt to work from home on Mondays then Tuesday will quickly become your "new" Monday....

This was what I was going to say. If it were me, I'd choose Friday.
