Default Gold Grovers on D-35....

I found a set of gold Grover tuning heads in the classified section and put them on my D-35. I think they look great and match the raised gold lettering on the headstock....

Did this guitar have Grovers on it already?

My favorite Grover Rotomatics are the nickel plated finish, but gold does look nice on that guitar. Well played.

Yes but they were chrome plated. The gold looks much nicer.....I like the feel of these, they tune up just fine...18:1 ratio I believe...

Some years back I had the string shaft fall out one of the original nickel Grover Rotomatics (see picture) on my Taylor 422 so I 'upgraded' them with a brand new set of gold tuners. ( and I changed the truss rod cover screws to gold too )
I think they look better on some guitars.

The only other thing I'd suggest, bling-wise, would be ebony (or other non-metal) buttons. Unlike chrome/nickel, over time the gold wears off, leaving the guitar looking a bit dingy.
