Default NGD - Rainsong CH WS from LA Guitar Sales

Hello to all my fellow AGF and CF guitar aficionados!

First of all, a shout out to Ted at LA Guitar for this beautiful guitar. I have been an extremely difficult customer to deal with and I appreciate Ted and Helene's patience with me and they made this happen.

Now on the guitar, I actually don't have it with me at the moment. I live in Australia but I travel back to Kota Kinabalu (Sabah, Malaysia) to see my folks on a regular basis. So I had Ted sent the guitar directly to my folks place so when I visit them, I have a guitar to play. Since Malaysia is so crazy humid, so it makes sense to keep a CF guitar there. So this Rainsong CH WS is perfect as I used to own a Rainsong Concert WS and I know how good it sounds with the unidirectional top. But the original concert series was a bit out of my budget to be a secondary guitar to be kept at home away from home. So this new model concert hybrid was perfect, a unidirectional top Rainsong at an entry level price!

My Dad received the package this morning and he has never seen a CF guitar ever. He knew a guitar was coming but he didn't know it wasn't a wood guitar. He was taken by surprise as to how beautiful a CF guitar can be and he said she sounded amazing! I have pics to show but unfortunately I am unable to share on tone as its with my Dad now.

Once again big thanks to Ted and Helene and am looking forward for my next visit to my folks.

Cool story! Congratulations on your new CF guitar. Hope your dad doesn't hijack it from you....it's been known to happen

High humidity environment, you are not there to care for it constantly = perfect application for a CF guitar. Oh, and it sounds good too. A classic win-win scenario.

I love the sharks on my shorty, but I have to say that the minimalist look of these new models with the clean fretboard is really attractive.

Hi Pandaroo,

Just noticed this thread. First off, thanks for the kind words, but FYI, you were not a difficult client to work with at all. I was glad that in the end we were able to get you the exact guitar you wanted, or should I say glad that the folks at Rainsong decided to build it.

I hope the guitar brings you and your family many, many years of joy.
