I am also bugged by mis-spelled words, especially when I do it. As for typos, I am the king of them and get embarrassed when they slip through. What do people think of me when I let that happen? And if they don't frown on that, what's wrong with them (or me)?
Another one is "peaked" my interest. It's "piqued."

I like the 25 page threads based upon " an 8 year old told me today that I played like a poopyhead" and the exploration of the psychological damage done.

World is full of thing best dealt with by "nut up and shut up"

On the other hand, that advice isn't all that good for traffic on internet forums.

What annoys me are threads on the AGF that don't have a single photo of a guitar. Like this one - at least up until now...

Here, let's fix this right now.

There, that's much better.

"It's" vs "Its"
"Your" vs "You're"
"Their" vs "There"
"Would of" vs "Would've"
"Loose" vs "Lose"
"Between You and I" vs "Between You and Me"

Which side is "right?"

Default this may be MY FIRST AND ONLY RANT

The one thats gets me is when ...yeah yeah, I know it gets old, but still...
when someone asks for opinions between this guitar and that guitar,
and gets replies that read--

"You need to play them both and decide for yourself."
"We cannot tell you, no one can but you."
"I may not hear what you hear, make your own choice."

Well, duh.

They are, I choose to assume, sincerely asking.
Asking for views, insight, opinions.
From which they will make thier own decisions.
Does the OP need dismissive condescension?

They find their way to AGF, seeking guidance for whatever reason,
only to be patronized.
Please, dont waste the (virtual) ink.

(ok, thanks for listening..i feel better now)

( Yeah, and people who don't know the difference between:
your vs you're;
then vs than;
their vs there vs they're;
advice vs advise;
lose vs loose;
ad nauseum...)

How about the guy who has 3 posts on the forum. One is a high dollar guitar for sale he can no longer play because of debilitating hand issues/multiple unsuccessful surgeries that limit him to playing any guitar for 10 minutes max. The other two posts are about gear he uses for his regular gigs.

This might be a bit more than a "little thing" that annoys me

Little things that annoy me - Misleading thread titles. I thought this thread was going to be about fire ants or mosquitos.

Wait.

That would be "Little things that bug me."

Never mind.

Default Little things that annoy me

Things that annoy me... world hunger, mass genocide, political corruption, social inequality, etc.

Silly stuff on forums is just silly when put in to perspective. Although I hate the phrase "first world problems" because it implies no one but the impoverished can have problems, there is some truth to it.

I am notorious for my bad spelling, of which I am deeply ashamed of. Most of us that come to this site are musicians in some form or other, artist if you like. As with any art form there is what we call artistic licence, which can and does many times include bad use of language even misspelled words in the written lyrics, even a song played out of tune or tempo, on purpose, so it amazes me the lack of tolerance here sometimes. But to me the most annoying post is by someone that clearly did not read my post, but feels the needs to point out something I already addressed, of course those are usually the very people that will point out my spelling. If I used the wrong word to describe something, then I appreciate that being brought to my attention. At my age pointing out my spelling is not helpful, only an effort at grandstanding, especially when what I have written is easily understood by everyone most times, and will not change how I spell things in the future. I have read other post that display the same thing happening , so don't think I am playing the sympathy card. You are not likely to see me pointing out another persons flaws out of respect if nothing else.

Only thing that bothers me are Guitarist who think they know it all.
We all know some things and play what we can, but music is very personal.
I enjoyed playing with groups since I can sing a bad note right lol. I enjoy most music, less Rap.

Did I say anything to you? I didn't think I had. Yes, I get bugged by spelling, especially my own, but worse are incorrect uses of words. And, thankfully (that I am not alone), it bugs others as well.

The main thing is - did you communicate what you wanted? Usually we can get by with poor grammar, spelling or incorrect word usage and no one is particularly bothered. But there are times once in a while when it is important. Here's one on punctuation that illustrates:

A group of people were asked to punctuate this: woman without her man is an animal

Men did it this way: "Woman without her man is an animal." But the women saw it differently: "Woman! Without her, man is an animal." True story.
