Default 1954 Gibson J45

This is a 1954 J45 that was in great need of repair. The list of things that needed to be done is as follows.
Neck reset
Re-fret
Refinished (It had no finish to start with)
New bone nut and saddle
Cosmetic repairs

The original case is with the guitar, but a new case comes with the guitar.

The guitar sounds amazing and is an eye opener for all that have played and heard it. It does not sound like a punky old guitar, but quite lively with great bass and treble. The tone can be felt quite nicely through your body and it responds to a light touch. It has been appraised at $4000 USA Dollars. An all original untouched 1954 J45 in perfect condition is upwards of $5000 USA dollars. The restoration of this guitar was done in my shop.

The price of this guitar is $2,700 plus shipping.

Thanks,
Dennis Kwasnycia

P.S
The owner of this guitar has had it since 1955 and has been in his family all these years. The guitar was in need of much repair and is now a fine instrument. He does not play guitar and wants to have it sold.
Please contact me for any information on this guitar.

The next picture shows the crack in the heal of the neck below the dove tail that is about a 1/4 long and has no barring on structural integrity. It was apparently there before the work on the guitar was done and showed up after putting the neck back on the guitar.

Cosmetic repairs.

This guitar is a great sounding guitar and two store owners that cary Gibson say this guitar sounds better than the new one's they have on the shelf.
There is a picture of the heal with a hair line crack in the finish and that has been repaired since the picture was taken.

thanks!

Probably a LOT more picks than I'd want to make in one production run. LOL That really is a beautiful guitar and it needs a good home. Good luck wth it!

Just a heads up that this guitar is still available. I will be taking it with me to the Elmira vintage guitar show on April 23. If your in the area, drop by and see the show and stop by my table.
