GS8 I-Beam Installation
Anyone installed the active I-Beam in a GS8?
Is the end pin hole the correct size to fit the end pin of the I-Beam or do you have to drill/ream it out? Jerry

I-Beam installed, sounds very much like my GS8 only through the PA.... first try. Wonder can it be right? Can it be beginners luck or just a bad ear....
The little slip of yellow paper with warnings on it and the 1/32" tolerance I have seen make me want to move it but it is already within EQ-able tolerances at least to me. How do you all know what is the right tone anyway? Without the I-Beam Recorded on the Tascam DR-1 from in front of the guitar, partial capo with my thumb. http://www.cdirect.com/photo/albums/...I-BEAM-GS8.mp3 With the I-Beam Recorded on the Tascam DR-1 from in front of the amp, partial capo with my thumb. http://www.cdirect.com/photo/albums/...I-BEAM-GS8.mp3 The I-Beam picks up more of the treble side or the amp makes treble louder. I had a hard time matching levels I finally recorded and amplified each sample to -0db no clipping and normalized to -3db. Is the treble over powering or just need a little EQ? Jerry
