Default Thank you

Well, I made it through cataract surgery just fine, and I’m loving easing my way back into the shop.

I knew everything was eminently fixable, but two months of being functionally blind wasn’t much fun.

And I just wanted to say thank you for the expressions of support, both public and private, that I got from many of the folks on this forum.

This really is a remarkable community, and I’m proud to be a part of it.

Again, thank you.

Steve

Steve, glad to see you are making good progress. Your vision will continue to improve each week and be come solid in a few months. You will want to sing I can see clearly now every day.

congrats Steve.

I was getting a consultation for presbyopia corrective surgery (raindrop inlay) when they diagnosed me with a teeny tiny cataract. it might be the result of a very old eye injury or the very early beginnings of cataracts - who knows.

Either way, I find myself thinking of that occasionally so I can appreciate what you went through and your positive outcome is an encouragement.

Wonderful. It's nice to hear about your successful surgery. Now get back to work!

My father had cataract surgery about 5 years ago and he went from practically blind to being able to see better than me!
