Default Eastman E10OOSS/v

Hey forumites,

I wanted to post about my latest purchase as I haven't seen anyone else chatting about them around here. It's one of the new Eastman "Antique Varnish" series instruments, an E10OOSS/v. It sounds incredible and feels great. Everything I like about old small bodied guitars but with nice, new frets, a more modern neck profile, and none of the intonation issues common with a lot of vintage models.

Anyone else have one or played one?

I would post a picture but I have no clue how, haha. Here's a link to one instead--hopefully that's above board. https://www.instagram.com/p/BdyWy0bB...=alexevansohio

Welcome to the club of Eastman crazies. I believe you are the first to post one of these.
I own the E10 00 SS and it's a great guitar.
Yours is very cool...congrats.

I own an Eastman E10SS as well, one of the best guitars I've played in over forty years of playing.

Welcome to the club.

I bought a brand new E10SS/v and I am very happy with the guitar. Love the French polish finish! I had to have some minor fretwork done to get rid of an annoying buzz. That was a disappointment, but now it plays wonderfully. It is very light, very responsive, has a full rich tone, the right amount of sustain and loud. The neck is super comfortable!

I won’t compare it with other brands/makers because it is a superb guitar in its own right. I still can’t believe how much guitar I got for the price. It’s the cheapest guitar that I own but it holds its own with the others.

Congrats on a great guitar,

When you say "modern neck profile" do you mean on the slender side?

And congrats, that's a gorgeous guitar!
