Thanks for inquiring and sharing, bry.
I am actually wrong to say that Emerald use a color CF fabric. If you look into the inside of the guitar, it's clearly black/grey CF fabric they are using. And Sean has also confirmed that color is sprayed onto the black /grey CF fabric, after the guitar body is formed. And a final clear coat is rendered to form the gloss layer.

Like what Capt said, Emerald has done it so good so much so that one will think that color CF fabric are used.

Now, do any builder out there actually use color CF/Kevlar fabric?

After you have one, the wait for a second is pretty easy. Was for me anyway.

Ummm... not me. And, I did buy one that was in stock and a Select Series. Goodness, the only "wait" was for shipping. Of course, I was spoiled by the 4 day Ireland-to-south-Texas delivery on my first one.

Kidding. Mostly. These fine guitars are worth the wait.

Maybe it was because we had just moved from Colorado to Arizona...into a house that needed a lot of TLC, so I was able to stay very busy. And Emerald delivered about a month early ! So that REALLY helps. Having the X7 to play while waiting....satisfied me.

It's going to be cool to see all these NGD reports start coming in....

I have a big cabinet job starting Monday so I'm hoping that will distract my mind for a couple weeks until my x7 gets here.

Haha, very cool. Wow bry, you're going all out...first the CH-OM...then you post to look for advice about the X7...then...holy mackerel! Enjoy the rest of your wait. We look forward to the reveal.

Congrats Bry, It was highly likely that it was going to happen anyway, so good to go ahead and get it out of the way. Looking forward to your thoughts....
