Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Quick question: When do you use the 7th sharp 9? Does that fit a particular scale?

Just another altered dominant sound...blues scale works nice over em...here they're kind of a tritone thing used to get chromatic movement downward...I often see a 7#9 as a 13th chord sub, up a b5...so using a dominant sound a tritone away is cool, for example, play an F#13 sound over the C7#9 (F# mixolydian, if you want scale)

Sometimes I use a 1/2 Tone - Whole Tone Scale over a 7#9 chord...

C7#9 = C E G Bb D#

C 1/2-W Scale = C C# D# E F# G A Bb C
