In my experience, the choice will come down to which sound you prefer. I started on the s6 and I bought it new and have never regretted it. It is a great guitar and I still play it and enjoy it even though it isn't my primary instrument these days. I have heard great things about the taks though, so buy what you think sounds best to your ears.

IMO the Tak G series don't do much for me. I'd say you'd get a better quality guitar in the Seagul, and you can feel good about buying a guitar made in N. America.
