I've read the thread up to this point (and will keep doing so) and it is really great to see how many friends I have here. Keep it coming, and thank you so very much for taking the time to say.

Congratulations Bruce! I always thought your guitar aesthetics had that 'something' special about them. Great to hear they sound as good as they look too.

I only regret that I live too far away to try out any of your guitars... Maybe one day...

Well done again.

There are at least three of my guitars in Australia, though none to my knowledge as far north as Darwin. A good friend of mine did spend a few years working oysters up there after one of his ship wrecks, so I know something about the place, at least from his perspective. Of course he is a sailor, and his stories are consistently unlikely . . . yet generally corroborated by others who claim to have also seen these things go down, if they survived.

Might I add to all the accolades, Bruce. Thank you for being an AGF sponsor. This little piece of cyberspace is a joy to visit daily. My "Cheers" Bar for guitar.

And of course, let's not forget to than JR. for making it possible!

Best wishes to you and I hope to make a West Coast guitar tour sometime in my future.

Bruce,

Though I am late to the party here, I'd like to add my congratulations on this award. No doubt it is well deserved. I wish you continued success and happiness.

Bill

Bruce,

I had a guitar built for me by Larry Nair in the past year, and, in the two years that I have known him, you are one of only two luthiers that he has mentioned by name.

Apparently he played one of your guitars at a show (possibly this very one!), and I remember he commented afterward, “That guitar has something that mine don’t.”

Congratulations.

Congratulations Bruce. Well deserved. Of course it's sporting the cutaway I'm so fond of. Really beautiful simple yet eye catching and elegant.

I met Larry last year at the Grass Valley Bluegrass Festival. His reputation preceded him through the forums. I liked him a lot and look forward to seeing him again.

No surprise here as I own one of Bruce's guitars. After 5 years of gigging and recording with my P-wood WRX, it still throws down like no other..!!

The pix and reports from Woodstock point to you and Laurent still killin' it..

Congrats..!!
