I ordered mine on Wednesday and it arrived this morning. I selected USPS Express.

Not only do they sound amazing, but they are surprisingly loud. Much more so than a guitar that size should be able to be. Mine is a cannon.

This is a very true statement. My HV has a lot more volume than my mahogany. It shocks ppl when they hear it for the first time.

Congrats on an excellent choice! We just received our new HV Mini, and it makes a great complement to our Mini-Mahogany. The tones are quite distinct from one another. I only wish I had the funds to buy another while they're available!

I do have to admit that I feel a slight twinge of guilt that after test-driving the various Minis at my local shop, I ended up ordering a model they couldn't stock. I'll be buying lots of strings and songbooks to make up for it.

Congrats.
I envy you Yanks for being able to order these HVs.
I love the GS Mini and the spirit behind these HV ones as well.
Gutted I can't get them here in Australia.

I did manage to pick up one of the last 3 pieces of Koa FLTD ones from my local store.
They had "sold out" but due to the way they were placed right at the back of the store room they have there, they didn't see these last 3 and I guess I was at the right place at the right time.

I know at least one made it down under...

I'm certain it has.
The angle I was taking with the response was: Taylor didn't make it easy for us here "down under" to get one.
i.e. You can't just go to the website and put in your address in Australia to have one delivered directly or to be picked up from your local authorised Taylor reseller.

On another note, why is it some of the HV GS Mini's are actually Mini-e ones?
I don't see that as an option online.
Or were they retrofitted?

When I called Taylor, the taylorware person said you can add the ES-T system to a HV, but it would be an additional 400.00 cause it would transform it into a custom order.

Called to check on my order that's still "processing" and was greeted with a recording that Taylor's on vacation for two weeks. So, I may have to wait a little longer than anticipated. Oh well, as long as it eventually gets here.

So much fun to play, it's hard to put down. Sounds great, real pretty, easy to play, and great cause. Kudos to Taylor!
