Default Fishman Loudbox Mini Battery model

Just talked with Fishman and was told they were coming out with the Loudbox Mini with a battery so it can be used unplugged. Nice for busking or anywhere outdoors.

Judging by the open sale price drop of the Loudbox Artist at Guitar tar Center last week, I'd say that the Artist Is being replaced as well.

Do you know the approximate release date? I'd be really interested in checking it out!

I was told by a guy at Fishman that it would be out by the 'end of the year'. I imagine by Christmas buying time which is now. He didn't know more.

That’s interesting. Fishman is one of the few companies that keeps their lines relatively static. So, I’ll be curious to see what new improvements they’ve made. I’d like to see a model similar to their original PA speaker design.

I spoke to a customer service person at Fishman a while back about replacing the Tolex on my Mini. I believe the price he quoted was $50, and I don't recall asking but I'm sure that doesn't include shipping. He said the new covering was more durable than the original. I believe they have switched over to the new covering on their new amps too.

Is there an announcement or other information online about the new amp?

Once again, I was told on the phone by a Fishman tech that there will be a new Fishman Loudbox Mini with battery option coming out before Christmas. He didn't think there were any other new products.

Thanks. I also was told I could send in my FLM for new tolex, but I figured it would end up the same way....and I am very careful with it. But, if they have actually improved the covering, that would be a plus.

That's what I was told. You could check with them about that. You could also ask about upgrading to that limited edition mahogany cabinet, but it looks like they may not be offering those any more.

I have since moved on to another amp. Was tired of the tolex product on the FLM.
