If I'm being honest, it sounds rather 'mid-range' focused. that was my experience when I briefly demo'd that amp in a local shop. But I also think the EQ section has more versatility than I had time to explore.

Well the EQ section is extremely versatile and capable of a zillion different sounds. This one of my sample is just what I had dialed in that sounded good in my room, however I found it to be very acceptable for a final recording as well. I thought it was well balanced with out too much of anything. I would be happy to have this sound on my final cd.

The EQ section is one of the main reasons I bought this amp. I love the control it has over the sound.

Welp played through my laptop to a small portable JBL speaker but accounting for that, sounds really great. Thanks for posting.

Interesting, you needed that much high end boost because of the location of the Lyric's mic under the bridge I presume?

All I did was tweak knobs until I got a good sound. For starters, I basically used the old standard EQ adjustments that make up a smile on multiband EQ. Boost up the low end and high end, lower the mids. I left lots of mids there to boost the sound....

By no means am I done fiddling with this EQ on the Rosette...I'm just getting started.
