Gotta be the coolest looking parlor I've even seen. Love the rosette/soundhole design on that body size - love all the appointments. Looks fantastic!

It was very comfortable to play, and produced a much greater amount of volume than I expected.

Completely agree. I need to get my hands on one of these someday soon. Hopefully he will have one at Santa Barbara.

I had to tell him that I was way too busy and that I refuse to pick up any instrument at the show, 'cause then I'd be lost.... I asked him who's Parlor it was. He said "Mike Baranik." I said, "Buy it! How much?" When he told me the price, I plotzed, and told him, "Run! Grab it now or it will be gone!" A beauty, a gem, and with apologies to Mike Baranik, way under-priced. Bargain of the show!
So, did the significant dude grab the Retreux Parlor in the end?

I'll gush again, unabashedly even, and say that even though I love my 00m, I still give ample attention to my parlor because it is such a fabulous player, with a tone that is both rich and pure, and truly surprising responsiveness. The 00m offers all the same ingredients in a bigger package. In a word, Mike Baranik builds fantastic guitars!

It's that the heel of YOUR Meridian, Matthew? It's super cool! I also like how Mike recessed the action adjustment. The dude has an eye!

Yes, I thought that was cool as well. Since I never play standing up I asked him to recess that delrin (or whatever it is) button. Someone else has this like that, it might be Huck/Wolfram.

My heart raced a little when I saw the title of the thread. I was very anxious to see Mike's guitars for Woodstock this year, until I realized you revived a thread from the 2015 Woodstock show.
