Do not allow any preconceived notions or even a head stock prevent you from buying something. You could miss out.

Often, people may even say, " I THOUGHT I had to have a <brand>, but I picked up this guitar on a whim, and I was really surprised ! "

As much as we think we know what the specs will mean to the sound or what guitar we have to have to get the package, I think we can all be surprised by what we find.

Ain't this the truth! I never would've guessed I'd be spending more time playing my 0 size than anything else. There is so much to try and in good time, decide if you thought it was what it is. I can't wait for my cello to be done.
Nice guitar btw, another one I need to try...

Understood.

I had long thought that dreadnoughts were "the only way to go" with acoustic guitars.

Until I played and then bought my OM28-V. Now, there are no more dreadnoughts in my house, but there are two OM's and a 00, as well!
