Default CA Cargo and DEET

I am wondering if DEET bug spray will harm my CA Cargo--anyone know?

Having owned one, I doubt that anything will hurt a Cargo.

Deet I think can harm nitro guitar finshes but the Cargo was painted with auto paint. I doubt it will be phased.

If it's a gloss finish, I think it is an auto grade clear coat. However, if it's a raw finish, I think it's simply auto wax. Either way, I doubt it would hurt the finish.

I have spent many days covered in DEET while playing my Cargo RT, Cargo gloss, and RAW OX and have not had any problems with the finish, or the bugs.
