Love it when this sort of thing happens. It turns a room full of strangers into a room full of friends.

Gotta love the spontaneous Kitchen Parties. Not sure how it is in other places in Canada and the US but in Atlantic Canada many parties start in the living room and then migrate to the Kitchen where everyone will hang out.

Must be the same everywhere. Whenever we have a party I put extra seating in the Lounge/Living room but they never get used as everyone moves on mass to the kitchen. To cater for this I ended up making special fold away seats/furniture in the kitchen to cope with party night.

The best laid plans can often be blown out of the water by spontaneity - and we're quite often better off for it.

Makes me proud to be Canadian. Unfortunately not all of Canada is as easy going and music loving as the East coast. Love visiting there and to be honest I don't think I've ever met an unfriendly East coaster[emoji445][emoji447][emoji482]
