I was talking to Mike yesterday and someone literally just bought it then. Not sure who it was though.

Good question Ivan. I was so impressed by that one that I now have a very similar blue spruce/koa OM on order Looking forward to seeing it, maybe by end of the year.

Ivan,

Will you be at the Santa Barbara festival Oct 1? I will have the 'tree' with Blue Spruce top OM that Mike built last year at the show at his table (also the OO with an LS redwood top). I'd be pleased if you had a chance to play both.

I never heard who bought the Koa OM. It was a hauntingly beautiful (both visually and tonally) guitar.

Phil

Some real beauties posted here. I have heard Mike's guitars played by some happy guitar players here in California. Nice work.

Best,
Jayne

I had seen and briefly played that OM at Woodstock when Mike brought it that year. I told Mike if I wasn't in the middle of having my Charis build being completed I would have snatched it up. It was amazing!

Hey Phil - Yep! Will be there all three days and love to see the new ones! Redwood tops are so pretty! Be great to see you again - and Colin too (from above) + his friend from the SB area I met at Healdsburg last time!

Fun, Sun, Beach and guitars! What's not to like :-)

Maybe the Koa 00M will magically show up too!

Hi Matthew and Ivan, regrettably mine is due for building soon after the SB show and I won't get to the SB show unless I can pull off a miracle in timing for a possible European trip (I can get there via the USA, and it's only about 2 hours extra fly time).

So take good care of Mike at the show ...he has my VIG to make after he gets back home!

Col
