Fishman Loudbox Mini
Hello All,
This unit does not have a headphone jack. Does anyone know of a way to use headphones with this amp? Thanks.

The auxiliary jack is an input jack. Doesn't it have to be output???

I imagine that the best way to do this would be to run a line from the DI out to a small mixer that has a headphone jack and monitor the output of the amp from the board (you could just turn down the amp's own volume when you do this).
You could do it on the cheap with something like this: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/502/ Louis |

Funny b/c I talked with Sweetwater earlier today, and the rep. suggested a mixer. I was hoping not to spend more $. I will have to hold off for now. I did recently purchase the Tascam GT-R1, and am just learning about it, but I know I can hear my guitar in this.

Why exactly do you need to hear the amp's output through a headphone? It's not like an electric guitar, after all, where you could practice more or less silently with headphones on.
Just curious. Louis |

Practicing silently was the idea, as I live in an apt. building, but it's not really a big deal.

No, I don't have a silent practice guitar. I was just looking to hear what I was playing at a normal level when I need to be a bit quieter at night.

Again, not sure how this helps if you are playing acoustic, unless you plan to drive the electronics really hot and then play really soft. If that is the case, I don't think the sound you are going to get is going to be very pleasing.

Yea, I'm beginning to wonder about the usefulness of doing anything with this.

I am almost confused by this thread.
One, if acoustic, and you are looking to small apt. playing, then play guitar, forget the amp. Two, if playing electric, then pick up a very cheap Digitech RP55, RP155, or so on, a pocket pod, then plug in with the guitar, hook in the headphones and your are done. Is this the end of the story???
