The Nylon Parlor is still part of the lineup, but the big news for 2017 from Rainsong is the launch of the Concert Hybrid series, starting at $1299. Like the Shorty and P12 Parlors, the new series features Concert Series Unidirectional top, and Hybrid back and sides, with gloss top and satin back and sides. They are available in a Parlor, OM, or WS body sizes either without electronics, or with your choice of LR Baggs Element, LR Baggs, Anthem, or for the first time from Rainsong, with a K&K Mini.
This new low price for a US made high quality carbon guitar will definitely entice more folks to take advantage of what carbon guitars bring to the table. |

Anyone attending NAMM was able to try all the guitars Rainsong had on display, and as it turns out, all of them followed me home.
If you are asking about how the new CH models sound, the Parlor and OM are identical in construction to the Shorty, and standard Parlor, and the WS is basically a deep body version of the Shorty with a slightly bigger voice, with some added low end. The CH-WS is my new favorite, BTW. |

You're not kidding Jim. If I had a bigger vehicle, I would have brought home the Journey booth, and a few Lowdens as well.
You know, I always wanted one of those cool custom conversion vans the big kids had in the 70's. |
