Oh man these are cool! Almost pulled the trigger on one a couple months ago.... From what I gather they are surprisingly versatile! Good luck with the sale.

I've heard a number of these, and they've all been fantastic; but I've never heard one with a mahogany top before. Do you have any recordings -- I wonder what it does with the sound?

Inquiries
I've received a couple of notes, the answers to which may be of general interest.
The nut is 1 3/4" Because of the top plate I can't slip a tape directly on the bridge and properly see it, though I am close. My close guess is that the scale is 25", which is no surprise. The "round" neck is the equivalent of a typical acoustic guitar, as opposed to the squared neck intended for lap playing. I'm selling it as I am now revisited by old injuries, both back and wrist, in the last year chronic reminders of earlier invincibility. Last month I sold a National M1. Selling this one is really an admission that the jig is up, and I do it with a lot of regret. Paul Beard is a delight to work with, road tests designs with world class players, has made a lifetime career of resonators, and additionally is lots of fun. It is a great guitar. Hope this is helpful. Last edited by halfmoon; 04-26-2017 at 06:58 PM. |

Inquiry
It's a normal 'C' neck, as one (or at least me) finds on most acoustic guitars. I have comparatively small hands too and the neck has never occurred to me as an issue. All wood is solid, not laminate. Hope this helps.
