Default Rode NT55 mic - worth it for versatility?

It looks like the NT55 is a swiss army knife of a mic, compared to the NT5. With a swap of the capsules it converts from a cardioid pattern to omnidirectional, has 3 different attenuation settings, and 3 different cut off settings. It looks like on the 0dB attenuation and no cut off the sound is pretty crisp and clear on mic'ing acoustic guitars.

It looks like it is the same mic as the NT5 - just with more options.

Thoughts?

Good mic but if you need a pair check out the Beyerdynamic 930. For recording guitar you don't really need those options.
