Thank you! The project will be graded by the master luthiers at our school. The grading is strictly on workmanship and we have to do a documentation of the build.

Good question. My other project this semester was building a fixture to test tops and backs before the actual guitar is built. So the cut in the top is because of the neck joint in the fixture. This is also the reason why the bridge is already glued on.

Thank you! The luthier that inspired me the most is definitely Raymond Kraut. But it is also inspired by Jason Kostal and Ted Astrand.

just wanted to say a big well done on the build,it's looking fantastic already and can't wait to see the end result.....look forward to seeing what you do in the future....

Last week I was in Switzerland for a few days buying some incredible spruce tops and making some videos of Gentian Mazrekaj playing my instruments.
