Default Here's a list of some good fingerstyle books I have. You may find it useful.

Many of these include CDs and all have TAB and standard notation. I have more but these I like the best. Am listing them because they're worth having and to make people aware they exist. Bought 'em all on the internet, google for more info. If you have any questions about these books, what's inside, difficulty, etc. just ask. Of course there's zillions more out there, these are just ones that I own.

Thanks for posting this, Greg. I'd be curious to know if any of these books focuses on more mellow-ish melodic arrangements, preferably with a bias toward standard or dropped D tuning. You know, the pretty stuff for saps like me.

JD:

A good place to start would be the Al Petteway books. Bypass the Christmas book, too many of the pieces are ensemble. They don't come with CDs but a lot of the stuff you can see on YouTube or demo in iTunes. Or buy or download the CDs!

Mr. Petteway's arrangements use a lot of DADGAD, drop D, etc. and should be approachable by a solid intermediate player. And oh yeah, they're very pretty!

Good luck!
