Default Ladder braced concert build

I thought I'd post this here in case anyone wanted to watch along. Curly mahogany back and sides and Adirondack spruce top. This is to be a college graduation present for my clients daughter who is a music major and country blues fan.
Yes, when this guitar build is finished, I am going to build myself a sailboat and learn to sail!!!

Looking forward to watching this build John. Red spruce and mahogany, great combination. Nice graduation present too.

I sailed on the Bay for many years (haven't sailed in quite a long time) and loved it. I took lessons at Cass's Marina in Sausalito. Where will you keep yours, river or Bay? The Sacramento River can be some nice sailing, the Bay a bit of a challange, but really fun and beautiful. I'm interested in the boat your planning. Care to post a bit about it on the Open Mic forum?

Dennis

Nice!
Guitars with ladder bracing are a thing of novelty in AGF Custom Shop these days. May be you can put some commentary regarding how ladder braced guitar construction (and luthier's concerns) differ from X-braced Guitar builds. I (and surely others) will appreciate that very much.
