I like recording
I like recording music but I'm not the best at it, especially with limited funds!
Hopefully this forum will help solve some of my problems

The biggest solution I've found is to have someone else run the 'chinery. It's enough focus to worry about playing for me.

with a decent pc, and a couple hundred bucks (or less) you can make very nice recordings from home.
reaper ($60.00) is a very full featured daw. one mxl 604 mic ($100.00 or less) one good sound card/interface ($100.00 or less) $ 260.00 tops, and that is a good beginner setup. look for a good condition echo mia card without the midi. probably forty bucks now. |

If you dont need more than 16 chanels and no MIDI i can recomend the free DAW kristal Audio Engine;

Or if you have a Mac, Garageband is more than sufficient to lay down acoustic tracks. Grab a shure 57 and a mic stand and your good to go!
