Default Big Oak Tree

I'm about to (try to) trim this big fella down to size. Any ideas what I should do with all the wood?

An all-oak guitar's probably a bad idea, huh?

I think oak would not make for a good top, but I have heard or read that oak works well for back and sides.

I have a couple of old, ancient cherry trees that look like that oak tree of yours.

With a tree that thick and the straight short part before it branches out, I'd certainly think about guitar back & sides out of the trunk.

How will Tony Orlando know that you still love him if you cut it down?

Make a guitar, tie a yellow ribbon around it, then sing a seriously twisted version to Tony...

"I'm coming home I've done my time,
5 years and a 5 thousand dollar fine,
for selling little kiddies lots of nasty kind of dope.
I thought I'd make a killin', but I dang near got the rope....
Oh....
Tie a yellow ribbon 'round that arm of mine,
then hit me up with another dime..."

My tree has a "waistline" of 136 inches. Makes me feel skinny at only 46!

It looks like a nice tree. Is there something wrong with it?

That's a lot of barbecue wood there. I bet some fancy wood/furniture workers would pay well for it too.
