BTO Taylor DN Adi, EIR, V neck
Note some finish issues under the tuners. Probably a factory flaw. (yeah, I see me, too) Back of the headstock. Maple and something. Note: Righty but pointing the other way. Slight finish issues on the sides. Slight bubbling. Top and back are mirror smooth. Have had this guitar a little while. Previous owner picked up at local Taylor Road Show. I don't think he played it much. Only reason I'm selling it is that I don't do well with the V shaped neck. Comes with hard case. Has the older 9V ES, not ES2. I debated adding an ES2, but it's extremely rare for me to plug in. I love the Adi+EIR tone enough that I have one on order, just not with a V neck. $1,900 shipped CONUS. I got a really good deal at my shop because of the finish issues. Unable to take trades at this time because I'm running low on space and tripping over guitars in that room. More pics available on request. |

Bump. New price of $1,800 shipped CONUS since I'm tripping over guitars right now.

Bump. This is probably the cheapest BTO I have ever seen.

$1,500 CONUS bump. Any lower and I might keep it for a local trade.

WHAT????? 1500 for a Adi/Rosewood BTO. Someone buy this thing. Crazy time in the used guitar world.
Perspective for potential buyers, this would sell new for north of 4k new if you could get it in this configuration. The Taylor V is a soft V not like a Martin V.

I was a little surprised that I had to drop so low. I'd keep it if I didn't have very tiny hands. I'd keep it if it had the normal Taylor neck shape.

Yeah, this is nuts. I'm sorry man, I wish I could deal with a DN body. I cannot believe this is still here at this price.

I'm interested in this, sent you a PM.
if you don't mind, list the serial # or send it to me, I'd like to call taylor and ask about the neck shape, I'm assuming this is a newer model with Andy Powers influence if it has the V neck. thanks d |

2012-ish, I think. I'm not sure what year Andy Powers joined. I should, given that I own a "few" Taylors.

I'm only 5'5" and don't mind sitting with a DN. My 28.6" scale jumbo baritone gets to be a bit much after long periods of time, mostly due to the longer neck and heavier strings.

Might be keeping this one to trade later. A deadline is approaching at work and I'll be working 12 hour shifts for the next 7 days.

Back from a gnarly week from heck and a much deserved vacation. Was tempted to keep this until I picked up a DN with a regular neck, which feels much better on my very small hands.
$1,500 CONUS firm. |

Best deal on the board right now. The upgrades alone (adi top, abalone rosette and trim, backstrap, and gotoh tuners) cost well over the asking price!
