Default Take the duck (quack) out? Help!

There is a missing thread. It talked about a gizmo some of you used to help with the sound of a Taylor acoustic guitar with Fisman OBB when amplified. I think you said it helped to filter out the quack sound out. What is the name of that effects device? I think it was a Boss XXXX Thanks.

After I get the answer. please turn this inot a cheap (quack?) post thread.

The Boss AD-5 or it's smaller brother the AD-3 me thinks to.

BTW LRBaggs PADI works great as well!

with the prefix plus, what are your opinions on the sansamp acoustic DI versus the PADI for tone and taming quack?

also, is GC a good place to demo them both? the stores in my area do not carry either (just fishman)...there's a GC fairly close though...

thanks..

The PADI is a fine preamp but the SansAmp's mic emulation circuit is what does the trick. I could really not get the quack out with the PADI. I got a nice hot, feedback free signal but....quack was still there. The SansAmp fixed that and gave me a nice toneful sound.

Take the duck (quack) out?

Sorry, I'm married. But even before that, I never went out with a duck. Couple other weird birds maybe, but no duck.

cotten

That cheap enough?
I use the AG Stomp, and am happy with it.

Ag stomp sounds like a cool name to take the duck out with. It would be less messy than a 12 gage, but I already have a 12 gage. What should I do? I could use my size 12 waffle stompers or a 12 gage. What a decision. (Just wait until the animal rights wackos read this one!)
