Thanks John, can't wait to see the whole thing, fretboard and body in one shot!
Thanks Jim, again, it was the sound of your OM that pushed me into this model, I originally was going another way....thank you! Gotta be pretty in your neck of the woods right about now! Thanks Steve, feelings are mutual. Don't worry, we will make it there someday, I'll bring the SJ and the OM for you guys to look at and hear how they have grown up. Of course, Kathy will be the highlight of the show and tell hahaha!

I think you're going to love the sound of this guitar! Mine is just beginning to open-up a bit now, and it keeps getting better! Can't wait to hear your thoughts once you've played it.

OK David and everyone else who has been following this thread...here is the end!
When Steve and I talked about this build, my goal was to find woods that spoke for themselves, wood purflings, beautiful rosette, headstock woods and then use the fretboard inlays to give the bling. Looking at the end product, I think Steve and Ryan nailed that exactly. The cross grain SE Asian purfling, the redwood burl rosette and headstock overlay, the beautiful silking in the Lutz, the neck veneers, and finally the back and sides of beautiful SE Asian rosewood and woot woot, we have a masterpiece if I do say so myself. Here are some pics, I hope if you appreciate this work, you will give a shout out to Steve and Ryan here. Sound clips will follow I have been assured. This guitar is going to be used to help celebrate a birthday in the Middlebrook household, I believe Mrs. is turning 26....or there abouts. Tom

My beautiful Luckenbooth:
There was some doubt when we (OK I) selected this wood for the headstock, but look at it now....perfect!

Last ones: Look at the grain in the center lam on that neck, WOW.
THANK YOU STEVE AND RYAN FROM ME TO YOU. These guys are great and build an amazing amazing guitar. And now, I have two of them! I am very pleased to say they are mine forever. (well at least once the check gets there)...

Phenomenal
The word is overused on this forum over and over but in my mind very appropriate for this guitar. STUNNING in every respect! My goodness Tom. What a gorgeous specimen. The elements work so well together. They look like they were made for each other. Wow!
I can't wait to hear it but given what we already know about the prowess of Kinnaird West I'm sure we are in for a treat. Congrats Tom and Steve and Ryan !!!!

Absolutely beautiful, Tom! Really happy for you and how well this came together!
Can't wait until it's in your hands and you get to play that first strum! Kudos to Steve and Ryan--fantastic works as always!
