Default My album of sacred pieces..."Gather"

Hi,

A few weeks ago I released an album of my arrangements of religious pieces. I'd love to get some feedback on it from anyone who is willing to give a listen to the samples: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/id...ign-mpt=uo%3D4

Thanks!
Keith

Nice arrangements Keith.

How did you record this? What processing, instrument, effects, etc.

Thanks Dan. I used my old Epiphone acoustic - 1970s model - with a DeArmond sound-hole pick-up (we're not talking anything new or high-tech here...) that ran into an M-Audio Fast Track Pro, using Garageband on my imac. I also added some vocal, clarinet, and bass guitar tracks. The vocals and clarinet were just done in front of a mic plugged into the M-Audio. Lots of echo and reverb on the vocal and clarinet. Very few effects for the guitar tracks - just chorus and reverb. What helped to give the guitar a pretty clean sound (I think anyway) was working with garageband's 31-band equalizer. I used a variety of EQ settings depending on the song and individual tracks. So glad you took the time to listen.....much appreciated.
