Default America cover

It's been a while since I attempted another cover so I went with something really easy. At least my mom likes it.

I Need You by America.

For some reason I had forgotten about this song. Thanks for bringing it back to me.

You did a very good job playing and singing this. A thumbs up

This is really good. The vocals are right on. Harmonies very tight. Are you harmonizing with yourself? Think I'll have another listen!

Thank you very much folks.

Gibbyguy, yes I harmonized with myself. I did the lead vocals first and did the others later.

Thanks again for everyone's kind words.

Outstanding job! You kept the essence of the original!

That was a very popular album when it came out. The two big songs that charted were "A Horse With no Name" and "I Need You".

Thank you very much Bob and noman. AMerica is one of my favorite bands and I'm glad that you think I was able to do their song justice.

VERY nice stuff. Your vocal harmonies are great. I checked out some of your other songs too. The Neil Young cover "Birds" blew me away...I have not listened to that piece in years. What a songwriter he is, and you certainly nailed it. I also listened to your cover of "All of the Stars"..a song that just goes through me. I bought it after seeing the movie "The Fault in Our Stars". I must admit that I kept waiting for the high note near the end, but you elected to do it a different way. Great job on all of it.
