2016 Dehradun Custom SJ Lutz/Wenge - SOLD!
***** S O L D *****
Up for sale is this beautiful Dehradun Small Jumbo Lutz over Wenge. I am the original owner of this guitar. I ordered everything I wanted in a steel string, unfortunately for me in the 2 1/2 years it took to get to me I have completely transitioned to classical guitar. I was going to keep it anyway, but in the year I have had it I've played it for maybe a couple of hours. I think we'd both be better off if I sold it and commissioned a good classical. The guitar has *a lot* of killer features, such as: - beautiful Lutz top, lattice braced - Wenge back and sides - Wenge fret board - offset sound hole - Wenge pass through bridge with wenge tail piece - bass baffle with tornovoz - elevated fretboard with scalloped frets - carbon fiber reinforcement between the neck block and the tail block - 1 3/4" nut, 2 1/4" saddle, 24.9" scale - wenge radial purfling - north Indian rosewood binding - GOTOH 21:1 tuners - DTAR electronics - Hiscox case For more detail about Dehradun guitars, here's their website (note they are calling the small jumbo the concert model now) https://dehradunguitars.com/pages/c13 Here's a few pics. These are the professional pics that Dave Murray had done and I can't take any better. The guitar is in the same condition as I received it. I think this price is a very good deal! Shipping is CONUS via USPS Priority Express (1 or 2 days at most) for $75. Please feel free to contact me with questions. I forgot to mention that I offer a 2 day return period, if you are not happy with the guitar you can return it for a refund. Just return it in the same condition and pay all shipping. I understand that it is difficult to purchase a guitar over the internet sometimes. (That being said, I've always had good experiences here at the AGF!)

That's a lot of guitar for the money! I just got my custom Dehradun about a month ago (13-fret concert in redwood/walnut) and I couldn't be happier. Dave and his team are really putting out some quality work.
Good luck with the sale! |

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Here's a video Dave made about the guitar. I think it shows it off pretty well. Also, in an email to me, Dave Murray said "I have never heard a guitar like this one. Just so full and resonant. Each string excites the others in a bigger way than I’ve been able to build before. The notes jump right out and across the room but there’s this bloom as well." Thanks, TK |

I had a question about the armrest. Yes, Dave made a wenge armrest specifically for this guitar and it is permanently glued onto the guitar top. It's not in the beauty pictures and the front half of the video because the armrest hadn't been made at the time. Later, when it was closer to being shipped, Dave got it installed (as you see in the last half of the video).
I apologize if I mislead anyone my old brain didn't catch it. Here's a pic of the guitar today: 20171112_160722 by Tristan Koehler, on Flickr Here's a closer pic, where incidentally you can see a good shot of the gorgeous Lutz Dave used: 20171112_160805 by Tristan Koehler, on Flickr Thanks all, TK |

Jeremy Clark. I talked to him over the weekend. It's going to be awesome! (and I'll put it into a build thread - I think he is real up and coming luthier and I'd like to get him some exposure to the good folks at AGF)
