Premium East Indian rosewood back and sides
Sitka spruce
000 body size
24-9/10" scale
Herringbone rosette and soundboard inlays
Grained ivoroid binding
Ebony fingerboard
Long diamonds-and-squares abalone inlay pattern
Eric's signature inlaid in mother-of-pearl between the 19th and 20th frets
Hand-beveled tortoise pickguard
Nickel-plated open-geared tuners
Aged top with natural gloss
In excellent condition, one ding on the top.

Charles Fox SJ Sitka/Cocobolo

From renowned luthier Charles Fox, this incredible guitar is built with the finest materials. It's in very good condition.

This Charles Fox SJ was built in 2001 and is simply incredible. Great tone and clarity, piano-esque, with loads of bass response. Apparently his guitars start at $18,000 now, but this one was made in his Healdsburg, CA shop before he started on his own, under the name Cfox.

Charles Fox does something interesting with the frets. Instead of just tapering/angling off the fret ends, he rounds each fret end by hand. This is labour intensive work but extends the playing area of the frets.
