How do you turn a blues tune into jazz?

I had been searching these types of arrangements for playing
west coast jump/blues , jump/swing & swing/rock-a-billy .

The Freddy Green approach was really a major revelation to me ,
Keith Wyatt explained it so clearly and easily for me to beginning
to understand and approach doing .

Beside the four & three not triads , the rhythmic consistency in your right
hand's constant time keeping is the key to keeping the flavor/groove going
at all times .

Hey that's my favourite scale! The half-demented scale. (The wholly demented scale is obviously twice as cool, but it's tough to keep track of...)

Q. How many bass players does it take to change a light bulb?

A. None. The pianist can do it with his left hand.
