Eastman AR 905ce (Final Drop $1300 shipped and PP)
I have for sale a beautiful blonde Eastman top of the line jazz guitar. This guitar sounds great and is gorgeous as well. You can read up on this guitar at https://www.eastmanguitars.com/archtops-ar905ce-bd . The retail is about $3700 and they typically sell for $3000. This guitar is being offered for $1975 (now $1475) shipped air to your door. The case and guitar are in great condition except for spider web surface finish cracking in some places on the soundboard. This in no way affects the sound or playability of the guitar and are actually hard to see unless you are close and looking for them. The price reflects the issues. If you are looking for a premium hand carved jazz guitar at a bargain price, and it doesn't have to be perfect cosmetically, then this is truly a great opportunity. Please pm me with questions. Please, no trades at this time.

Thanks! It is a very sweet jazz guitar. I am only making it available until Sunday, after that I have decided to just keep it. This is an amazing jazz guitar. The finish cracks are only visible up close. It plays like a dream and sounds amazing. If you are looking to learn to play some jazz or are thinking of playing wth your community band, this is the guitar. I love Godin, but this is in another category. My price is firm. First to say I will take it gets a beautiful hand carved jazz guitar. Pm me with your questions, but there is no more negotiating on price. This is an amazing deal. I have sold many guitars on this forum and was an original Taylor guitar forum member. Buy with complete confidence. New strings of your choice, and a humidifier for the trip.

Wow, I thought I had one of the oldest, with serial number 40. This is even earlier, at 23. Amazing guitars that will only grow in value. The wood is gorgeous.

I just took this out and plugged her in and she sounds amazing. The few flaws in the finish on the top and not noticeable and just add mojo. I am dropping the price one more time just to see if there is a buyer out there. I will sell her shipped air to your door for $1475. That's less than half the retail selling price! If you are looking to play a beautiful hand carved archtop, this is a great deal. Paypal is on the buyer or a check is just fine. Thanks for looking.

Just a quick note to say that I've owned four Eastman guitars and they've all been great instruments. And they've all exhibited the same lacquer checking that yours does. They use an incredibly thin finish. The upside is that it shows in the tone of these guitars. For me, there is no downside as I love the naturally aged look of nitrocellulose lacquer. Any prospective buyers shouldn't be concerned with the lacquer checks - it is quite common on Eastmans and not at all an issue.
Best of luck!

Thank you Backdrifter. I agree with your comment. The checking is not really noticeable from more than a few feet away. I think it actually looks kind of cool .... a bit of mojo if you like. I really don't know the after market value of this guitar or where to try to sell it. It isn't getting much of a look here on the forum, but the market is a bit saturated. If anyone reading this has any suggestions, I would truly appreciate a pm or comment.
