Default Browser Experts Help Block All Ads

I'm very tired of ads slowing down and popping open screaming at me. Is anyone here expert in how to block all (or most) ads that appear on all sites? My primary browser is Google Chrome if that matters.

If you're using Chrome, Firefox or Safary, I recommend UBlock Origin. A bit faster and lighter on resources than Adblock Plus. I use UBlock Origin in combination with Ghostery.

Installed............let's see. Thanks. I had Pop Up Blocker so I think this is just an ad on.

Seems to be effective. Maybe I can turn my volume up again. Those video ads that just........happen were really annoying to me.

I use Firefox (64 bit) in Windows 10, and I typically have several pop-up and privacy-related extensions active simultaneously. These include (among other things) Privacy Badger and AdBlocker Ultimate, and I'm reasonably sure both are available for Chrome. I also use NoScript, which allows me to control annoying Java elements that sometimes create related issues with sites I visit. As always, YMMV.

Even the ad box popping up at the bottom of the AGF pages was stopping me from typing as if it was saying "wait, I'm down here running some video". Although I dislike downloading internet "ware" on my computers, this has already been like a Scotch. Relaxing.
