Default How many guitars do you own?

I started playing guitar 54 years ago. My wife gave me my first guitar shortly after I came home from Nam. I ended up giving that guitar, a Sigma, to a cancer patient who wanted to learn to play in the time he had left. Since then I have kept every guitar I have ever bought. At the present time I have sixteen guitars, eight acoustic and eight electric. I also have one mandolin, one ukulele. three dulcimers and one balalaika that I made and played for a college class. I got a A+ for that.
So how many guitars do you own?

My full list at this time is

Steel strings (top wood/back and side wood):

1. Pellerin SJ (cedar/rosewood)
2. Avalon Ard Ri 320L (spruce/rosewood)
3. McIlroy A20 (spruce/walnut)
4. Martin D-16GT (spruce/mahogany)
5. Guild D-120 (all mahogany)
6. Guild D-55 (spruce/rosewood)
7. Alvarez AP66SB (mahogany/laminate mahogany)
8. Seagull Folk (cedar/laminate cherry)

Classicals:
9. Cordoba C5 (cedar/laminate rosewood)
10. Cordoba Fusion 12 Orchestra CE (cedar/rosewood)
11. Cordoba C12 (spruce/rosewood)

But, only the top 3 and bottom 3 get regular playing time. The Martin D-16 does get a bit of playing. The rest are cased.

I had 14 at one point, but I sold the Furch Yellow, Larrivee OM-05 and Gibson J45 that I had. I miss the J45 even though I played it only once in a while, it was nice to have around for that "moment."

I'd like to get 1 electric and then call it a day. (Fender)

Thank you for your service. You guys don't get enough thanks for what you went through.

Probably too many:

- Late 70's Applause (cheaper version of Ovation). First instrument I ever bought for myself. Keep it out of sentimental value.

- 80's Ovation 12 string, bought used in '82. Slot head, 12 fret. I still like playing it.

I had these two as my only acoustic guitars up until 2009.

- 2007 Eastman MDC 805 archtop mandocello which I reversibly converted to a 6 string guitar (basically an AR 805 now).

- 2007 Altamira M20D grand bouche Sel-Mac copy. Very light and very loud.

- 2017 Martin HD-28. Love this for bluegrass.

- 2020 Gold Tone Paul Beard round neck resonator. Because I always wanted one.

- Not sure of the year Eastman E2OM-CD. A joy to play. Best bang for the buck of any of them.

- 2022 Martin 000-15SM. Overall probably my favorite.

I don't know if I'll be adding anything else. No plans yet.

I'm down to three acoustics and one electric (and a mandolin).

More than some folks, fewer than others...
