Big fan of Lindsey Buckingham here. A very underrated guitar player imo, both on acoustic (steel and nylon), and electric.
He doesn't play to be flashy. His goal is always the musical one, which is one of the big assets in his talent arsenal.
The video also reminded me that I have an identical guitar to his. It's the guitar I've owned the longest.
Thanks for posting!

Check out a record called "Buckingham Nicks".

Yes! That's actually my favorite song to play. Only wish I could sing like him.

Here's my favorite Buckingham song by far. Been thinking about doing it live in an acoustic duo for some time.

Definitely, and I agree, woefully underrated as a player.

His guitar parts are often deceptively tricky to pull off, and more importantly, they ALWAYS serve the song perfectly.

First time I saw this was probably 3 or 4 years ago, I had to learn it. It's great fun to play but I will never ever understand how he can play it and sing it.

I haven't actually watched the link but I am assuming it is his solo 'Big Love'. Has to be.

He is completely unique as an artist. As a person he seems to be very "eclectic"
or esoteric or something.

always loved his playing/style/sound, even before I started study of guitar.

I have the vinyl album original of Buckingham/Nicks shown above.

Here's a neat video of Lindsey talking about his playing, with some instruction

Big fan here too. I started listening to Fleetwood Mac (and lusting after Stevie) in the 70s.

I was just starting to learn guitar, and perhaps influenced by flashier rock players I was not too impressed with Buckingham's playing. However, as i matured a bit as a player myself, I began to realize just how good he was.
Everything worked for the song..... Really a great composer.

We saw the last tour as it came through St. Louis (last year? year before?) and it was like stepping back into 1979 when we caught the end of the Tusk tour.

I noticed that Lindsey must be suffering a bit from tendinitis....He would shake his right hand occasionally...But he never missed a lick.

Good to see that many others see his talent. I too did not pay much attention until I went strictly acoustic...now almost exclusively on nylon (mostly modern classical).
