Hello, All--Beautiful guitars, for sure. Just an update on Mau's Chinese name, in case anyone might still be interested. The first character is pronounced "Liu" in mandarin; it's a common last name. The next two characters are the first name, pronounced "HuangWu." "Huang" means "phoenix" and the meaning of "Wu" relates to military or martial themes.

Thanks for this.

I don't have the same last name as Bruce Lee, do I?

Luckily for me, the "Huang" part has been largely dropped. I think I only found out about it recently.

And "Wu" in Mandarin = "Mau" in Cantonese = "Vu" in Vietnamese. Incidentally, nobody in my family ever calls me "Mau" because, well, I don't speak Cantonese... What a mess.

You like Mau so we'll stick with that. International integration via ancestors and relatives does have it's complications doesn't it?
