M80 Neck Noise

I love this pickup but I find that there is a lot of noise from my hand moving on the neck (on a satin finish OM-28).

Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to tame it?

Not knowing what the pickup volume is set to, maybe turning down the volume on the M80 and then turning up the volume on your amp to compensate would help some.
