Default New Recording Page

Hi All,
In the spirit of sharing I've posted a page at my website that demonstrates a bit about my personal "minimalist" recording philosophy and methodology. I'll be putting up new information in the future, and hope to document a bit more about the process of basic recording for the home enthusiast.

http://www.bluestemstrings.com/pageRecording1.html

As an example, here's a shot of my homebrewed shock mount for sdcs. The text for it's construction is available at the above link.

That 90 degree mic holder is utterly brilliant! ...had to stare at it awhile to finally get what you'd done with the rubber bands.

Impressive site Rudy.

I got a kick out of this, from your Links.......

"The Acoustic Guitar Forum has probably the greatest collection of guitar-related geekiness on the web. Answer your questions about building, buying, playing, recording, and destroying acoustic guitars. (Well, maybe not the destroying part...)

How's this for minimalist?

Hmm, dropbox doesn't seem to work for posting photo urls.

That's minimalist, but I'll bet it costs a bit more than my $90 H1 and looks to be a lot harder to put in a mic holder!

Apparently, $199 with foam pop filter. (iPad not included)

I've added a few photos and a bit of accompanying text at the web page in the original post if anyone is interested. There's a shot of my (very minimalist) workstation and monitors that's worth the visit if you're into small spaces.
