Hey thanks for the suggestion! I have not had a great time on ebay, it's honestly give me a nightmare for the past year that I've been on the platform, so thought I'd try my luck here

Years ago I used to sell on eBay, but a couple bad experiences with buyers and I quit. I do buy on eBay on occasion when I can't find something elsewhere and usually not items with high price tags. Look at the feedback a seller gets and that should be a fair indication of their reputability. Look at the sellers other items for sale. If they have a lot of stuff not related to music gear or audio, there a fair chance it may be something of a pawn shop that has no means to test out what they are selling and there's then a possible increased risk of getting something non-working, although if the price is right I may take the risk.
