To answer my own questions: From what I understand, the letter “A” at the end of the “CPX-15EA” model means it has Yamahas “acoustic resonance transducer” piezo and does not have LR Baggs piezo. I have the “CPX-15E” and the panel/interface has a Mic/Piezo blend knob allowing adjustment between mic only (knob all the way to right), piezo only (knob all the way to left) or anything in between. The CPX-15EA’s that I’ve seen for sale have a Mic volume knob instead of blend knob (which essentially does the same thing). As far as the soundhole cover, it’s a black rubber circle with Yamaha logo. (Hard to find from what I undertstand). The shape is more of a perfect circle rather than the oval one found on the APX line. These CPX-15’s sure are great guitars.
