Thanks will try those strings mentioned and give a feed back.
I just hope this is not a mental thing as I have my eyes on a Córdoba C12 and looking for an excuse.

I got a pack of savarez blue, gave the strings 3 days to stretch and settle in and I have to really admit that this set really made a big difference to the LaPatrie and it sounds a lot fuller, not loud but a much nicer tone. Even the six string bass sounds nice and deep, before with the Daddarios the 6 string always sounded thin.
I am a happy camper
