Default A peek behind the scenes of my work.

Hi folks,

Just letting you all know that during June and July I'll be working on a new set of lessons that will be called 'Doing More With Less' - a comprehensive method to playing tasteful and expressive acoustic lead guitar without breaking any speed limits.

I just finished shooting all the movies and am now working on editing and tabbing out all the music. Here's what my screen looks like during the process. That's a movie file in the upper left-hand corner and the Finale file that I use to make the tab with.

Toby, you need more screens. Two is great and three is even better!

I'm looking forward to the new lesson.

+1

I have 2 big (27") screens at work and couldn't believe the difference that having everything visible and big enough to see well made to my productivity. My employer buys a two screen setup for everyone since they found that speed goes up and errors go down enough to pay for them easily. The only caution is don't use the extra space to have email or Twitter open due to the distraction factor.
